Crochet is a great travel buddy. Next time you plan a trip, use this checklist to pack your project.

What should you pack in a travel crochet kit?

Answer: Pack a zippered pouch or clear bag, crochet hooks (plastic or bamboo for flights), small scissors or thread cutter, enough yarn for the whole trip, tapestry needle, stitch markers, and a printed or offline pattern.

Answer: Plastic and bamboo hooks are generally allowed in carry-on bags. Metal hooks may be allowed but can face scrutiny. Scissors smaller than 4 inches are usually permitted.
